This is a 1901 dated Oberndorf Gew 98. Has mostly mixed numbers. The receiver, barrel, and front sight match. The bolt has different numbers but matches itself. Has a good bore with strong rifling. I have shot it at 100 yards and it's a nice shooter. Everything functions as it should. No cracks in the stock, but I think it has been sanded. No Turkish markings.

I don't have enough space to keep purchasing rifles, so I am cycling this one out to make room for others that I want. Will sell for $850 cash firm, but mostly looking to trade for similar value. Mainly interested in military surplus firearms, but I am open to any trade offers.
