Up for sale is a classic Model 1916 Spanish Mauser, rechambered in .308 Win (7.62 NATO). These rifles were originally issued to Spanish troops and later converted by Santa Bárbara Armas for export and civilian use. This particular example is clean, functional, and retains its original military styling with a blued finish and wood stock.
Features: Caliber: .308 Winchester / 7.62 NATO. Barrel: 21.25" military profile. Action: Bolt-action, cock-on-close. Stock: Hardwood, military-style. Sights: Military ladder-style rear sight. Condition: Good surplus condition with clean bore and crisp rifling. Ammo: Handles both factory .308 Win and military surplus 7.62 NATO. Magazine: Internal 5-round, non-detachable.
