Up for sale is a Winchester Model 1911 12 gauge semi auto shotgun. These were manufactured from 1911 to 1925 so this one is at least 101 years old. Winchester attempted to compete with the A5 Browning that JM Browning offered and they turned around the turn of the 20th century (big mistake). It is long recoil like the A5 but to place a charging handle on the bolt they risked patent infringement from Browning. This one is in pretty decent shape for it's age maintaining most of the original bluing, 26" plain barrel with fixed full choke. It was nicknamed the "Widow maker" because of the way it had to be loaded. Perfectly safe when done right but not so much if done improperly. $500, North Richland Hills, 817 658 9830.
